Series Winner

On Saturday the 23rd of February New Zealand and England played the series deciding match of cricket down at AMI stadium in Christchurch. New Zealand bowled first and got an early brake through by getting the opening batter Phil Mustard out for about two runs. As the game carried on most batsmen got quite good starts but couldn’t stay in the middle long enough to get any big scores. England went on to make 242/7 but once New Zealand went in to bat it looked like a score that could have been chased down in about 25 overs as Brendon McCullum scored one of his quickest fiftys but soon after he made his fifty Jesse Ryder was run out. When Jamie How came in to bat he made a few quick runs but then Brendon McCullum fell for 76. When Ross Taylor came in to bat Jamie How and himself made a nice partnership and went on to win the match for us.

  1. Well written Josh. There was only one mistake that I could find (brake should be break). Why don’t you write more blog posts about sports as that is something you enjoy and have knowledge on?
