Season Opener

On Saturday the 10th of May I played in my opening rugby game for 2008 for the Te Awamutu Hornets against Frazer Tech. When we arrived we all went into our changing rooms and put on our shirts and boots. We then went out on to the number one field to do our warm ups and stretches. The ref then came over and yelled out “two minutes”so we all started to jog over to our playing field. When we arrived we lined up ready to take the field, the ref then called us on and gave us the choice to kick and we told him that we would kick. After a few minutes we scored in the corner and went on to score another three tries that half. In the second half they stepped up there defence but we still managed to score another two tries. In the end we won 39-0 but i didn’t get player of the day.
